The National Partnership Coalition


The National Partnership Coalition (NPC) is a multi-stakeholder national coordination mechanism for migration established by Article 35 of Proclamation No. 1178/2020. The Coalition is chaired by the FDRE Ministry of Justice and Accountable to the National Council led by the Deputy Prime Minister. The NPC is mandated to coordinate all migration subsets notably regular and irregular migration as well as forced migration at federal level. It is also mandated to initiate and implement national policies, strategies and laws as well as conducting research for national migration governance in the country.
